✨ Devotional Introduction: “Energized by the Spirit”
In a world obsessed with stimulation, many are running on fumes. Some draw energy from food—overeating to fill emotional voids. Others turn to substances, sex, fashion, or social media, hoping to feel alive, affirmed, or seen. But this energy is deceptive. It inflates like a balloon—bright, buoyant, and full—until the smallest needle of crisis deflates it completely.
Why? Because the body and spirit are at war. The soul, caught in between, is malnourished.
Paul wrote, “The flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh” (Galatians 5:17). When the spirit is weak, troubled, or infiltrated, the body suffers. But when the spirit is energized by the Holy Ghost, the soul aligns, and the body is strengthened.
This devotional series will explore the anatomy of spiritual energy—how the spirit, soul, and body interact, and how true vitality flows from divine alignment. We’ll expose counterfeit fuels and illuminate the path to lasting strength through the Spirit of God.
We’ll also uncover a neglected truth: the spirit must be bathed daily. Not just reborn, but cleansed—sanitized through spiritual exercises like meditating on the Word, praying in the Spirit, resisting evil, and walking in truth. Just as the body needs washing, so does the inner man. A clean spirit discerns clearly, loves deeply, and energizes fully.
